Smile Make over Beauty Tips

Smile Makeover is a popular term, today. Whether on TV or in the latest fashion magazine,
you’ll likely hear about the “life changing” effects of a person’s smile makeover.
In terms of cosmetic, smile makeovers can typically correct most deficits in a person’s smile.
One popular esthetic dentistry technique used in smile makeovers is teeth whitening.
Although effective for adjusting tooth color, teeth whitening is not effective in accurate other possible dental absence.
When your teeth are white and clean, you feel better about yourself – which means people now feel good about being with you and you feel comfortable with your smile.
It is very common for a person to have a flake tooth; it happens most frequently
when we bite into something harder than the enamel on our teeth. Not only can a flake
tooth possibly affect our appearance, left untreated a chipped tooth can lead to future
 problems with the underlying root.

Some tips to keep your teeth white, clean and strong……..

• Avoid chewing extremely hard substances (e.g  ice, hard candy, etc.)
• Avoid foods that can stain your teeth (e.g  coffee, tea, wine, etc.)
• Go to your dentist regularly for check-ups
• Most dentists recommend cleaning your teeth at least twice a day
• Should it be necessary, your dentist should alert you of any special requirements your teeth might need

How kajal make us attractive

Every woman is unique and beautiful. At the same time, there is no woman lacking any defects of appearance. As for the face, the defects can be easily corrected with makeup and finally appear as beautiful. Every woman should know how to apply makeup so that it would emphasize her natural beauty and make her more gorgeous and at the same time would hide defects. Depending on the shape of your eyes choose different ways of applying eye makeup.

When evening calls for an attractive look, you want to focus on making your eyes amazing.

This is a thick, black, ointment, made of ground lead sulfide or antimony sulfide, which is used as an eye liner, a coolant, and protector against the ill eye.

Kajal has been used for centuries by women for its wonderful and medicinal qualities.

It is believed to treat the eye of disease.

When applied in makeup, good kajal sticks give a dreamy look to your eyes.

From the time a child is six days old, its mother applies kajal to its eyes and also a small black dot on the forehead to mar the child's beauty. This 'imperfection' is said to protect from evil.

Kajal can made at home

Kajal can be made at home by mixing the soot of an oil lamp with clarified butter, while commercially it is available in small boxes or as pencils

How to apply kajal

Kajal is applied with a fingertip on the inner edge of the lower eyelid and sometimes on the upper cap as well. Open your eyes and apply the kajal inside the eye, next to the lower lash line. When applied on the lower inner edge of the eye it can be started from the innermost corner or from the middle to the outer corner of the eye. Kajal is usually put on the lower edge of the eyes for the soft look.

If eye liner is applied over the kajal put on lower edge, it defines the eyes very well.
Length of applying Kajal.

Choose the length which suits you. You may wear kajal along the full length of the eye or even keep it shorter-3/4, 1/2 or 11/4 of the eye.

To make small eyes look bigger put only 1/2 length-starting from middle to the outer corner of eye.

Bridal Makeup Trends

Wedding day is a fortunate and important day in the life of every bride and it is natural for each one to want to look their extraordinary best, yet retain some of their inherent everyday charm. A bride should be beautiful and not overdone. It is love that makes her beautiful and not the makeup artist. She's the star and has to look like a dream, her face translucent, soft and glowing.

Wedding Day is the most important day in the life of a woman and every young girl desire to look at her best on this blessed day in her life. Here are some tips to make you look as gorgeous as a queen:

- Use heavy-pigmented cream foundation and layer it with powder foundation to make the skin look smoother.

- Use powder foundation on neck, ears and chest too so that you don't seem to have a highlighted face.

- Use a concealer shade similar to the foundation and mix both well.

- Learn some camouflage makeup tricks and buy its products to use on your big day.

- If you have combination skin, use water based foundation and a dry sponge.

- Hide the under eye circles by applying concealer. Blend it towards the nose and use downward strokes.

- For a perfect eye shape, use a small brush to blend a medium tone color from just below the brow arch downwards in a semi-circle motion.

- Use light peach eye shadow as eyelid base.

- Choose lip liner that blends easily with lipstick for that soft glossy look that looks good in photographs too.

- Place the focus on the face either on eyes or on lip and underplay the other with neutral pink or brown shades.

- Thin and small lips look more sensuous with light lip colors while fuller lips can use deep shades.

Take Care of your hands

A lot of us take care of our face, but neglect our hands. I thought I was doing a good job. I put SPF 45 on the back of my hands every day. I carry a little pot of Jurlique Rose Hand cream in my purse to put on my hands after I wash them.

But I have a habit that was undoing all my hard work – washing dishes without wearing gloves. I usually do just a few dishes at a time, and it was too much work to put them on for just a mug or a lunch plate. But I’m wearing them every single time, from now on.

The problem is that dishwashing liquid is alkaline, which is hard on the skin. The skin has a pH of between 4 and 6.5, which is slightly acidic. Dish washing liquid is extremely alkaline to dissolve grease and dirt. Unfortunately, that also strips your skin of its natural acid mantle, which is there to protect your skin. Harsh alkaline soaps age the skin.

It's not just dishwashing soaps. A lot of big brand soaps (Camay, Dial, Irish Spring, Ivory, Palmolive and Zest) are also very alkaline, with pHs that range between 9 and 10. Dove is the mildest, with a pH of 7.

It’s important to understand that a pH 8 soap is ten times more alkaline than a pH 7 soap. A pH 9 soap is ten times harsher than a pH 8 soap. So a pH ten soap is A THOUSAND TIMES MORE ALKALINE than pH 7.

To take care of your hands:

Wear a high SPF sunscreen on the backs of your hands every day, even in winter and on cloudy days
  • Wear gloves every time you wash dishes or handwash clothing
  • Use a mild pH soap like Dove when washing your hands
  • Put lotion on your hands after you wash them, every time!
  • Always wear gloves when you garden or do heavy housework
  • Wear gloves to protect your hands from cold weather.
  • Get manicures from reputable spas or nail salons that practice good sanitation.

Make Your Lips Hot

Attain perfect lip line:

After applying lipstick, put a bit of foundation on a concealer brush and follow around your lip line, erasing any blur.

When to use lip stains:

Only use lip stains when your lips are perfectly smooth and you don't have lines around the mouth. To get smooth lips, buff lips with a toothbrush dipped in a little water and sugar. Never rub too hard and always follow with a light balm before the stain.

Gloss without the goop:

Apply a great lipstick and then touch lightly a bit of gloss only on the inside of the fleshy part of the lower lip. All the shine, none of the mess.

For high drama:

After applying lipstick or gloss, put a touch of white sheer shimmer powder on the dip of the upper lip and right below the lower lip. Perfect for evening glance.

Wearing red:

To get that perfect red lip, evenly apply a pale flesh colored lip liner. Then rub a red lip stain on the lips. Follow with a moisturizing red lipstick. Dry formulas look cakey; super glossy ones slip right off. Avoid red lip-gloss as it gets messy fast.

Small lips:

Avoid wearing dark colors; they make lips look smaller. Do not draw on a big lip with lip liner. Instead choose light or bright shades of lipstick or gloss with shimmer that catches the light for an amplifying effect.

Big lips:

Stay away from glossing the whole lip. Apply a little in the center on top and bottom, and then blend with your fingertip across the lips for shine that doesn't overwhelm your face.

Whiter teeth:

Brush teeth with a little baking soda. Then choose lip colors in cool tones for an icy-white smile.

Liner ruins:

Never chooses a lip liner darker than your lipstick. If you like to use liner on the whole lip, use a balm first to avoid chunky, uneven, dry color.

Bleeding lipstick:

Line the lips with a pale flesh colored lip liner then fill with a moisture-rich lipstick with staying power. Avoid glosses as they tend to run.

Perfect Color Collection Suitable To You

When we dress, we are trying to present an image that is pleasing to the eye. We want to receive those compliments that tell us that we look great, because then, and only then, will we believe that we do look great. This allows us to feel good about ourselves. Hence, the hunt for the perfect outfit begins and continues forever.Perhaps one of the most important reasons for having difficulty while selecting an outfit from our wardrobe would be the simple fact that the wardrobe is deficient in outfits that complement our body shape. How many times have you played the try on as many outfits as possible in 30 minutes? Game while looking for the perfect outfit to wear, only to be left with the same decision and a mountain of clothes to put away? The actual problem is not that you have nothing to wear; it is that you have nothing in the closet that flatters your stature.
So for many of us, the decision about what to wear should begin at the origin of purchase. Exactly how should you choose your outfits? Let’s start first by exploring how you currently go about selecting your clothing. You are drawn first by the colors and patterns. Your  judgment are more along the lines of whether or not it will look good on you, without thinking about how will it draw attention to your body shape so that it does look good on you. Color is an important feature, and how we display it is the most important aspect of that. The goal should be to take the attention away from the aspect of our body that is the least gratifying to us and place it elsewhere. In order to accomplish this, we need to consider our body shape, decide which feature we wish to accent more, and discover how to accomplish that.

Some helpful tips:

- Those of you who are top heavy and have a full bust will want to draw the eye to the lower portion of your physique. Wear a bolder color from the waist down, and a softer color above.
- If you are thin everywhere, you will want to accentuate your figure by adding dimension. You can do this by choosing outfits that are loose and flowing, and by wearing horizontal patterns.
- If you are bottom heavy and have full hips, you will want to select clothing that draws the eye to the top of your body. You can accomplish this by wearing a splash of color or a bold print on the upper part of your figure, and a solid, darker color below the waist.
- For those of you who are wide everywhere, you will want to stay away from bold patterns or prints. Draw the eye to the upper portion of your torso to create a focal point.
- Those of you who have the envied luck to have a perfect hourglass figure have the easiest path of all. Wear anything you want! Also, remember that simple clothing that fits well is far better than fancier clothing that just "doesn't look right."

Shehnaz Hussain's Beauty Tips

Take a handful each of dried reetha, amla and shikakai. Soak them in one liter water overnight. Next day, boil the herbs on a low fire till the water reduces by half. Allow the mixture to cool and then strain it with a clean cloth. Use the liquid to wash hair. This quantity should be enough for four to five washes. Chill it. Make small amount at a time.

Pimples areas:

Pimples occur on the oily areas of the skin. Therefore, applying cold cream can lead to further pimples. Mix one part of pure glycerine with four parts of rosewater and keep it in the fridge. Apply it on the face after washing and before applying it, add a few drops of lemon juice to it. Once daily, apply curd mixed with a little turmeric on the complete face, and wash it off with plenty of water after 20 minutes. Apply sandalwood paste on the pimples.

Dandruff:

Twice a week, heat pure coconut oil and apply it on the scalp at night, using cotton wool. Leave it on overnight. Next morning, apply the juice of a lemon on the scalp and wash your hair after half an hour. Apply henna once a week.

Lifeless Hair:

Once or twice a week, heat pure coconut oil and apply it on the scalp and hair. Then dip a towel in hot water, squeeze out the water and wrap the towel around your head like a turban. Keep it on for five minutes. Repeat the hot towel wrap three or four times. This helps the hair and the scalp absorb the oil better. Use a mild herbal shampoo. After each shampoo, apply a conditioner, massaging it lightly into the hair. Leave it on for two minutes before washing it off with water. You can have henna treatment thrice a month, adding four teaspoons each of lemon juice and coffee, two raw eggs, two teaspoons of oil and enough curd to the henna powder. It will make your hair look healthy and lustrous.

Grey Hair:

Amla is said to check greying. Have the juice of one raw amla after adding it to a glass of water. Also try adding amla to the henna powder. Henna turns white hair reddish brown. It will not colour dark hair. Soak a handful of dry amla in about two cups of water overnight. Next morning, strain the water, but do not throw the water away. Grind the amla. To the henna powder, add the ground amla, four teaspoons each of lemon juice and coffee, two raw eggs and enough amla water, so that the henna can be mixed into a thick paste. Apply it on the hair, covering the entire head. Keep it on for two hours and wash it off with water. It will also add shine and substance to the hair. Ask your doctor to prescribe Vitamins B-Complex and C.

Oily Hair, Hair Loss:

Excessive oiliness of the scalp can lead to hair loss. Wash your hair daily, using very little shampoo-one teaspoon for long hair and half teaspoon for short hair. Dilute it with a little water and use it. After washing, add the juice of a lemon to half a mug of water and use it as a last rinse. Have henna treatment once a week. Add four teaspoons each of lemon juice and coffee, two raw eggs and enough tea water to the henna powder and mix it into a thick paste. Apply it on the hair and wash it off after an hour. If you do not wish to use egg, add more tea water. For tea water, boil used tealeaves in water. Cool and strain before using. Include fresh fruits, raw salads and vegetate in your daily diet. Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water. Add the juice of a lemon to a glass of water and have it first thing in the morning.

Dry, Lifeless Skin:

Use a facial scrub once a week. For very dry skin, avoid soap and use a cleansing gel or cream. For the body, use a mild, glycerin soap. Apply sesame seed oil on the body before your bath. Mix honey with egg yolk and a little milk and apply it daily on the face, washing it off with plain water after 20 minutes. At night, apply a good nourishing cream and massage it on the face with a few drops of water. Wipe it off with moist cotton wool. Apply sunscreen 20 minutes before going out in the sun. Til oil actually has sunscreen properties, but it is better to use a sunscreen lotion for proper protection. Aloe Vera is a powerful moisturizer and an anti-oxidant. It helps keep the skin soft and healthy. It is better to use moisturizers and creams containing aloe vera.

Double Chin:

Exercises — open your mouth as wide as you can. Hold this position for about 10 seconds, then relax your mouth, and repeat the exercise a few more times. For faster results, add resistance by placing a tennis ball underneath your chin, while testing your jaw span. Sleeping without a pillow is said to help. Also, you can massage the area daily with a cream. Start from the chin and go downwards using both hands, one hand following the other.

Oily T-Zone:

Either buy a facial scrub or mix rice powder with curd and use it as a scrub. You may add a little turmeric if you wish. Apply the scrub on the face, rubbing gently with small circular movements. Leave it on for five minutes and then wash it off. This will keep the pores free of clogged oil. Once daily, at any time, mix one teaspoon of honey with one teaspoon of lemon juice and egg white and apply it on the oily areas, washing it off after 20 minutes.

Glowing Skin:

After cleansing, wipe the face with rose water, using cotton wool and then pat it briskly. Use a face mask once or twice a week. You can make a mask at home with two teaspoons of choker, one teaspoon of oatmeal or ground almonds and one teaspoon each of curd, honey and egg white. Apply it on the face and wash it off after 20-30 minutes.

Thin Waist:

Join a gym or health club and lose weight under professional guidance. Or, practise yoga daily. You can also do the following exercises after seeking your doctor’s advice. First, lie on the floor on your back, feet together and arms at the sides. Lift your legs about six inches above the ground and hold this position for a count of ten. Then lower your legs to the floor. Repeat this exercise 3 to 4 times and increase gradually. Then, keep lying on the floor, the same way. Bend your knees and keep your feet flat on the floor. Raise your body to a half-sitting position, holding your arms stretched out before you. Lower your body to the floor and repeat 3 or 4 times. Take a look at your eating habits. Avoid eating desserts after meals and stick to fresh fruits. Take clear soups (without butter) and salads before the main dish. Avoid rich gravies. Cut down on your intake of cereals. For example, if you have been eating three chapatis, eat only two. Or, eat only one cup of cooked rice. Eat fresh fruits, salads, sprouts, curd and paneer made from skimmed milk and lightly cooked vegetables. If you feel like a snack, eat fruit, carrot or cucumber.

Combination Skin, Pimples:

In combination skins, usually the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) is oily, while the rest of the face is dry. Pimples on the forehead can occur due to oiliness of the skin. You should wash the face only twice a day with a medicated soap. After washing, wipe the oily areas with rose water mixed with an astringent lotion in equal quantities. Use this two or three times a day. Avoid applying besan or multani mitti as they can sometimes clog the pores and cause pimples, blackheads or whiteheads, especially in pimple-prone skin. Add a little turmeric to curd and apply daily on the face, washing it off well with water after 20 minutes. Add a few drops of rose water to sandalwood paste and apply on the forehead and areas with spots. Keep it on for at least one hour.

Dry Skin:

If you wish to use soap, you can try a mild glycerine soap and see if it suits your skin. You should keep your skin well moisturised during the day, or if you are going out in the sun, apply a sunscreen. At night, use a nourishing cream, massaging it on the skin for two to three minutes. Massage the forehead too, starting from the bridge of the nose and using both hands. Go upwards and then in an arc on either side, go towards the temples. Wipe off with moist cotton wool. Once daily, mix one teaspoon honey with egg white and apply on the skin, washing off with plain water after 20 minutes.

Blackheads:

The daily use of a facial scrub will help. You can either buy a facial scrub, or you can mix rice powder with curd or rose water and use as a facial scrub. Apply on the face and rub gently on the skin using small circular movements. Concentrate on the blackhead prone areas. Leave on for five minutes and then wash off with water. Once daily, mix honey and lemon juice in equal quantities with egg white and apply on the face, washing it off after 20 minutes.

Lighten Up Your Complexion

Dark spots, and freckles, and skin-damage -Want to lighten your complexion? Every shade of skin is beautiful, but as we grow older our skin tone can change. Freckles may appear, dark spots can start, and skin may not be as light as it once was. So, if you're still not ready to squeeze your dark side, read on for a few natural whitening tips and tricks.
Use Sunblock
One of the easiest ways to stay fair is to use sunblock on a daily basis. Find a moisturizer that includes an SPF of 15 or higher and use it every morning after washing your face. Sunblock not only prevents your skin from getting darker, but also blocks harmful UV rays that can cause cancer and early aging. Remember your hands when applying sunblock, as they are a main area for age spots.
Exfoliate
Exfoliating once a week will remove dead skin cells to lighten and brighten your skin. Mix two tablespoons oatmeal and two tablespoons brown sugar with a quarter cup of milk, and stir until a paste forms. Gently scrub your face, rinse, and moisturize.
Make a Herbal Mask
A homemade mask is a great way to lighten your skin and a good excuse to kick back on the couch. Try using one once a week. Use one tablespoon of each of the following: sandalwood paste, lemon juice, tomato juice, and cucumber juice. Mix them all together to form a paste. Spread the mixture on your face and wait until it dries. Rinse and moisturize for a natural glow.
Licorice Extract
Licorice extract contains glabridin, a component that acts as a natural skin whitener. Apply a thin layer of the extract morning and evening, after you wash your face and before you moisturize. Licorice extract can be found at any health food store. Be sure to store the bottle in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness.
Note: test a small amount on the back of your arm before using on your face to be sure you do not have an allergic reaction.
Remember to love your skin no matter what color it is. It's a part of who you are and that's what makes you beautiful and distinctive.
