How to Apply Make-up To Look Younger

{[['']]}

Learn how to apply make-up to look fresher and younger, by using easy make-up artists tricks.

  1. Apply liquid foundation over your entire face - this will even out your skin tone and give the other make-up products something to adhere to. (Liquid foundation works well on a lined skin, because it does not settle into the creases like a cream foundation - for example.) Follow the foundation step by using a creamy textured concealer - which is used to cover blemishes, eye circles, age spots etc. Loose powder must be used after foundation and concealer - this step ensures your make-up will last, because the powder is dry it sets these moist products for a lasting finish. Loose powder is ideal,it is feather light on the skin and does not cake into fine lines on the skin like compact powder does.
  2. The next step is to define your eyebrows using a high quality eye shadow and a small firm brush. This step gets rid of all the gaps between your eyebrow hairs and creates a more groomed appearance. Eye shadow is next. Use a highlighter like white or cream under your eyebrow bone and a shading color through the crease of your eyes. Eye liner is used next and this defines your eyes. Complete the look with mascara.
  3. Apply blusher to add shape and color to your face. Complete the look with lip products - like lip liner, lipstick and lip gloss. Use shades that compliment your skin tone and your personality. The darker your skin the more intense the shades can be. Remember this: It's not about how you used to look or who you want to look like. Learn to work with what you have NOW and make the most of that. In our celebrity hooked world it is sometimes difficult to feel good about ourselves. Be realistic and work with what you have - no one is perfect!
